DISCOVER YOUR SPIRIT
Our vibrant Scout Group is thriving, thanks to a dedicated Committee, strong parent support, and a team of passionate Warranted Scouters and Uniformed Adult Helpers.
With excellent attendance at Pack and Troop meetings, our Group is going from strength to strength. We're proud to have over 30 invested Scouts and more than 25 invested Cubs, with a lively Meerkat den of around 15 members.
The success of our Meerkat and Cub pack has been instrumental in growing our Troop numbers, with a seamless transition from Meerkats to Cubs and then to Scouts. This strong foundation ensures that our young members can continue to develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and create unforgettable memories
As one of the largest and most active Scout Groups in the area, we proudly boast a membership of over 90 enthusiastic members, as recorded in our 2024 census.
Our Group is well-equipped to provide a wide range of exciting water-based activities, thanks to our extensive inventory of equipment. Our boat shed is stocked with a variety of Indian canoes, flat water canoes, and white water canoes. We also have hydrabats for thrilling games of canoe polo, durable plastic moulded Whaler Dinghies, and sailing dinghies, including Mirrors, Dabchicks, and Lasers. Our fleet of sailing craft also includes Gypseys, a Fireball, and three sturdy Gigs for rowing and team-building exercises.
To ensure our members' safety on the water, we also maintain a comprehensive stock of paddles for canoeing and kayaking, life jackets and personal flotation devices, and canoe helmets for added protection.
With our excellent facilities and equipment, we're able to offer our members a unique and enjoyable Scouting experience that fosters teamwork, skill-building, and adventure.
